Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamo
  • 1 cup oats (rolled or quick)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, blueberries, sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Toss until well-coated.
  • Transfer the fruit mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • In another bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt. Stir until crumbly.
  • Evenly distribute the topping over the fruit mixture in the baking dish.
  • Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and filling is bubbling.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Choose a mix of sweet and tart apples for best flavor. Can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days and frozen for up to 3 months. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
