  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamo
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until browned.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the browned butter, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  • Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges and soft in the center.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
