Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate hazelnut spread

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  • Spread half of the muffin batter evenly in the prepared muffin tins.
  • Add a teaspoon of chocolate hazelnut spread to each muffin cup on top of the batter and swirl it with a knife or toothpick.
  • Top with the remaining batter, covering the hazelnut spread completely.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing response. If short on time, prepare the batter the night before and store in the fridge.
