  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup peanut butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one by one, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and slowly add the peanut butter.
  • Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk to the mixture, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Measure ingredients accurately for the best results. Soft butter mixes better. Use a toothpick to check doneness. Drizzle melted chocolate or peanut butter on top for added flair.
