Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the diced strawberries.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the tops.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges pull away and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow to cool completely, then dust with powdered sugar before slicing.

Notes

For a richer chocolate flavor, add chocolate chips. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or 7 days in the fridge.
