Peaches

  • 4 medium fresh peaches halved and pitted

Cinnamon Oat Crumble

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For Serving

  • vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Wash the peaches, slice them in half, and remove the pits.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture becomes crumbly.
  • Arrange the peach halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
  • Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon oat crumble over each peach half.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the peaches are tender and the crumble is golden brown.
  • Allow the peaches to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Use ripe peaches for the best flavor. Frozen or canned peaches can be substituted with a slightly shorter baking time. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes before serving.
