Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamo
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in the vanilla extract and milk until combined.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes until edges are slightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the bars to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out using parchment paper and cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Slice into squares or rectangles and serve.

Notes

Always use room-temperature butter for better blending. Use fresh spices for the best flavor. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
