Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Place the chicken in the crockpot and pour the marinara sauce over the top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  • During the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Cover and allow the cheese to melt.
  • Serve over pasta or with crusty bread, garnished with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

This dish can be served over pasta, rice, or with a side of garlic bread. For extra flavor, consider adding sautéed garlic or onions to the marinara sauce.
