Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pink food coloring as needed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your work area. Gather all your ingredients and tools.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and butter. Stir until it dissolves and simmers.
  • Remove from heat and fold in the shredded coconut until evenly mixed.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  • Divide the mixture into two bowls. Add pink food coloring to one bowl.
  • Spread the white mixture in a lined baking dish, then top with the pink mixture.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Lift out the fudge using parchment paper and cut into squares.

Notes

Keep stirring while heating to prevent burning. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
