Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups apples (peeled and chopped)
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and both sugars. Stir them together until well blended.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Fold in the chopped apples.
  • Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  • Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let them cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and maple syrup, adding milk to reach the desired consistency.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the cooled blondies and allow it to set for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for better blending. Consider adding nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
