Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, and continue beating until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix just until incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the white chocolate chips.
  • Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the centers look slightly soft.
  • Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool.

Notes

Measure flour and matcha accurately. Ensure butter is softened for best results. For thicker cookies, chill the dough before baking.
