Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x9 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt, then add melted butter until the texture resembles wet sand.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish and bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  • In another bowl, blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the cream cheese mixture over the baked crust and spread evenly.
  • Layer sliced strawberries over the cream cheese filling.
  • Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until the filling is set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  • Cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for better mixing. Use sharp knife for clean cuts. Bars are best served chilled.
