Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup red and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set it aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Incorporate the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix.
  • Fold in the white chocolate chips and half of the red and blue sprinkles.
  • Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Sprinkle the tops of the cookie dough with the remaining red and blue sprinkles.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden, and the centers are soft.
  • Remove from the oven and allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Prepare your ingredients in advance. Don't skip the chilling time if the dough feels too soft. Experiment with different types of chocolate chips for extra flavor. Store leftover cookies in an airtight container.
